My name is really Kelly, not mystinkyheinyhead and I just had a baby girl, Maggie Ryan. Sadly, my nickname for her is "my stinky heiny head"...so that is where the blog name came from! Up until March 20, 2010 I was an event planner who planned high profile conferences and exhibition shows and events for a great hotel in South Boston...and by planning events I mean working 12 days straight, 14 hours a day when an event was in house and never seeing my husband! So when I got pregnant, I knew I had a tough decision to make come the end of my maternity leave: either stay at home with my new baby OR leave my job and part of my identity of who I had become over the last ten years behind... I chose my baby girl and I have no regrets over that decision. You only get one chance to raise your child the right way and you never get these moments back...so here I am, closing one chapter of my life book to open a big, scary, exciting new one!
